`Film Star’, another film, which tells the story within the film industry is progressing at Paathaalam near Aluva. Dileep dons the role of a scriptwriter, Nandagopan and Kalabhavan Mani as superstar, Suryakiran. Rambha and Muktha are the heroines. Sanjeevraj is directing the film. The story tells about Surya Kiran, a Malayali who became star of Kollywood. Nandagopan, a Malayalam screenplay writer wished to make a film casting Suyakiran as hero. He reaches Chennai with the script to meet Suryakiran. But Suryakiran rejected the subject
